Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty is a modern method of removing excess loose skin on the eyelids. It is a way to get rid of it permanently, thus allowing to refresh and rejuvenate the look. Drooping eyelids cause an older and tired appearance. By using plastic surgery, we are able to not only improve the appearance, but also improve the comfort of looking.

The effects after the procedure are individual and depend on many factors, such as age, health, skin condition or environmental and genetic circumstances.

Postoperative recommendations
  • do not tan the treatment area for about 4 months
  • do not use saunas and swimming pools for about 4 weeks
  • use sun protection in the form of a high SPF50 sunscreen
  • do not scratch delicate skin lesions if they occur
  • follow the individual instructions of the person performing the treatment

  • Lack of a clear look
Contraindications to performing the procedure
  • Active infections of eyelids, eyes, periorbital area
  • Dry eye syndrome
  • Pregnancy, breastfeeding
  • Active skin diseases (e.g. psoriasis, lichen)
  • Propensity to form scarring (keloids), hypertrophic scars
  • Blood clotting disorders, use of drugs that reduce blood clotting
  • Epilepsy
  • Cancer
  • Viral infections: HIV, HEPATITIS
  • Active autoimmune diseases (e.g., systemic lupus, scleroderma)
  • Alcohol consumption (24 hours before the procedure)
  • Excessive expectations of the effects of the treatment
